That’s a wrap on RSD25!

Record Store Day is many things to us. A celebration of indie stores making it happen in the digital age, a day that helps keep us afloat during our slow months, our favorite holiday of the year, but most of all it’s a reminder of why we wanted to keep this store here in the first place.

Our customers are the reason for it all and it means the world to us that so many folks wanted to spend parts of their Saturday at Lilliput. We couldn’t ask for a better community than the one we’ve got and are so incredibly thankful to be one of your local record stores! Thank you for continuing to shop local & for continuing to show up for us. Our goal is to do the same for you.

Thank you to the lovely @bearbear.co for designing this year’s rsd poster, we can’t get over how great it is. Thank you to our stellar DJs for bringing us the tunes all morning & into the afternoon. To @whittyremarks and @ladybird_famousband for ending the night with a bang! Thank you to @nomadcoffeebarmke for providing everyone with complimentary coffee. What is Record Store Day?

Assembled in 2007, Record Store Day (RSD) is the celebration of independent record stores, their employees and customers. Every year a new list is curated, filled with new limited titles from a whole range of artists and labels. This is the day to show your love for indie record stores! Since Record Store Day's original start, they have now added Record Store Day Black Friday as a second (but smaller) version that takes place every year!

Record Store Day at its core is a celebration of indie record stores, & that feeling will resonate with us for weeks to come!

So much love to our killer DJs: Von Munz, DJ JW & DJ アップルパイ who provided us with hours of immaculate music, to Jinksie who kicked off the night, Milwaukee is so lucky to have you & I’m still thinking about your 𝐆𝐢𝐫𝐥𝐬 𝐀𝐭 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 cover, & of course, big love to FRIKO for making the drive to MKE and putting on a truly incredible show; y’all deserve all the success & accolades!
